[High-tech LED News] China Optoelectronics' consolidated revenue in September was about 6.759 billion NT dollars, up 7% from last month. The overall Q3 revenue was NT$19.428 billion, up 5% in the quarter and 25% in the year.
China Optoelectronics said that with the new customers and several new LED projectors, the shipments of projectors reached more than 113,000 units in September, up 17% month-on-month, and revenues were about NT$1.7 billion. . The total Q3 projector product shipments reached 305,000 units, and the quarterly revenue increased to 4.899 billion yuan.
In terms of backlight modules, shipments in September reached 5.5 million units and revenues were NT$4.013 billion, up 2% and 6% respectively from August. The total Q3 backlight module shipments reached 16.21 million units, an increase of about 5% in the quarter, and revenues reached approximately 11.682 billion NT dollars, an increase of approximately 9%.
Looking forward to October, China Optoelectronics pointed out that the shipment of projector products in October this year is expected to increase by about 10% from the previous month, and the shipment of backlight module products is expected to continue to grow slightly. The company is expected to hold a Q3 legal briefing on October 28 this year, when the Q3 financial report will be announced and the Q4 operational outlook will be explained.
