According to Taiwan’s “Electronic Times†report: According to news from motherboard makers, AMD plans to begin mass production of a new generation of bulldozer core high-end FX series processors in August, which will be officially released in September. Mass shipments will begin in October to counter Intel's high-end Core i7 and i5 series offensive. The source also pointed out that AMD will initially release four models of bulldozer core FX series processors at the same time: eight-core FX-8150 (TDP 125W) and FX-8100 (TDP 95W); six-core FX-6100 (TDP 95W) and 4-core FX-4100 (TDP 95W).
