Four ministries and commissions adjusted the implementation plan of two solar energy demonstration projects

The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the National Energy Administration have jointly issued notifications to adjust the Gold Sun demonstration project and the solar photovoltaic building application demonstration project related policies. The adjustment includes key equipment bidding methods, demonstration project selection and adjustment, and subsidies. The notice pointed out that in conjunction with the demonstration projects of concentrated and contiguous development in development zones and parks, the demonstration of the construction of smart grids and the pilots for the construction and operation management of micro grids will be supported. The notice clearly states that the central government will provide subsidies for the key equipment used in the construction of demonstration projects according to a certain percentage of the supply price of the bid-winning agreement. Among them, the user-side photovoltaic power generation project subsidy ratio is tentatively set at 50% in 2010, and 70% for the independent photovoltaic power generation project in remote non-electricity areas. Vehicle power batteries (excluding lead-acid batteries) are used for energy storage facilities for demonstration projects. They are supported by the subsidy standard for stored energy lead-acid batteries.
