New trend of industrial automation: green die-casting robot

    The 13th China International Foundry and Die Casting Industry Exhibition will be held in Chongqing International Expo Center.     Deburring / grinding application of FANUC M-20iA system unit dedicated to foundry grade :

    FANUC M-20iA robot (including force sensor) is equipped with an electric spindle at the end that can grasp the tool holder. After grasping the three-dimensional wireless probe, three kinds of deburring or grinding tools are grabbed accordingly. Work on the workpiece (engine cylinder head). The work piece is fixed on the work fixture, and there is a dust suction device under the work fixture to directly suck the waste dust into the vacuum cleaner. At the same time, the Roboguide offline programming process is displayed on the PC monitor outside the workstation.

    Process description: The FANUC M-20iA robot's stable trajectory action realizes the sand core burr removal function, reflecting its high repeatability characteristics. The three kinds of deburring or grinding tools are applied in sequence, which embodies the application of high flexibility, and at the same time fast positioning and transportation, to ensure the accuracy of the placement of the position, reflecting the application advantages of FANUC M-20iA robot in the transportation industry.

    FANUC M-20iA robot function introduction: with 6-axis control, the maximum load can reach 20KG, the movement radius is 1811 mm, the repeat positioning accuracy is plus or minus 0.08mm, and the body weight is 250KG. The M-20iA robot uses high-strength arms and the most advanced servo technology to effectively improve the movement speed of each axis and the performance of acceleration and deceleration. The movement operation time is shortened by more than 15%, achieving the highest production capacity in the industry. The independent drive mechanism design in the wrist shaft realizes the world's most compact and compact built-in cable arm, enabling it to operate in a small space and high density environment.
