2013 CMOS sensor shipment will be the first super CCD

According to the research of IHS iSuppli, the shipment of digital camera CMOS image sensors will grow rapidly in the next three years and will surpass CCD for the first time by 2013.

Since the invention of the CMOS image sensor in the 1980s, the technology of the CMOS process was not so high at the time, and the noise in the application of the sensor was relatively large, and the commercialization process has been slow. Today, the application of CMOS sensors has also begun to be very extensive, including digital cameras, PC cameras, video phones, third-generation mobile phones, video conferencing, smart security systems, car reversing radar, toys, and industrial, medical and other purposes . In terms of low-end products, the picture quality is close to the resolution of low-end CCDs. The efforts of related companies to replace CCDs with CMOS devices are becoming clear.

In 2013, shipments of CMOS image sensors for digital cameras (DSCs) will reach 7.11 million, compared to 30.7 million in 2010. At the same time, CCD shipments in 2013 will drop from 94.1 million in 2010 to 66.9 million.

By 2014, digital camera CMOS shipments will exceed 85 million, while the CCD is 51 million. Figure 1 shows the shipment forecast of digital camera CMOS and CCD image sensors for 2009-2014.

    Usb C Cable

Usb C Cable is also known as Usb Cable Type C interface,is an interface specification consisting of a Type-C plug and a type-C socket. Its highlights are thinner design, faster transmission speed (up to 10Gbps),stronger power transmission (up to 100W).In addition, USB-C interface also supports double-sided insertion, front and back can be inserted at will, compared with USB2.0/USB3.0 more advanced.Usb-c has been given better media properties, faster transfer speeds, and better compatibility with charging. The new generation USB-C has faster transmission speed than USB,stronger power transmission, smaller interface size, and supports bidirectional transmission with stronger compatibility.

Thinner bodies require thinner ports, which is one of the reasons USB-C is here to stay. The USB-C port is 0.83 cm long and 0.26 cm wide. The old USB port measuring 1.4cm long and 0.65cm wide looks outdated. This also means that the end of USB Cable will be one-third the size of the plug of A standard USB-A cable. The USB-C port is the same on the front and back. This means that no matter how you insert the port,it will be correct.Users do not have to worry about the pros and cons of traditional USB ports.
