Pass Samsung took new iPad display LG Sharp not up to standard

Vinita Jakhanwal, an analyst at IHS iSuppli, stated that because the high-resolution display panels provided by LG and Sharp do not meet Apple's quality requirements, Samsung will exclusively supply Retina displays for the new iPad.

Jakhanwal said: "The new iPad display specifications are quite demanding in terms of high resolution. To achieve such a high resolution and meet Apple's quality standards in terms of power consumption and brightness, this is a challenge for LG Display and Sharp. ."

Jakhanwal pointed out that LG and Sharp may ship the new iPad display panel in April. Due to the lawsuit relationship between Apple and Samsung, Apple does not want to rely too much on Samsung.
