Four Shaanxi Strengthening Grid Projects Approved

Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission approved four projects for the first phase of the 750-kilovolt transmission in the first phase of Huadian Yuheng Power Plant in Shaanxi Province, the 330kV power transmission and transformation project in Xunyang, the expansion of the 330kV transformer substation in Dayang, and the 330kV power supply in Xibao Passenger Transport. The 20-kilovolt line is 20 kilometers, with an additional 330 kV substation capacity of 720,000 kVA and a line of 209.7 kilometers, with a total investment of 671 million yuan. The provincial power company is responsible for the construction.

The 750-kilovolt power transmission project of Huadian Yuheng Power Plant is a supporting project for the first-phase 2×66-kilowatt unit of Yiheng Power Plant. It is scheduled to be put into operation at the same time as the first unit of the power plant in the first half of next year. It will pass through the 750-kilovolt power transmission channel from North Shaanxi to Guanzhong. Guanzhong Load Center provides power protection; Xunyang 330kV power transmission and transformation project not only provides guarantee for the delivery of Xunyang Hydropower Station, but also further optimizes the Ankang power grid structure, and plans to put into operation in the first half of 2014; 330KV Dayang Substation Expansion and Xibao Passenger Transport The power supply project is planned to be completed and put into operation in March 2013 and the first half of 2014 respectively, mainly to ensure the safe and reliable power supply for the Xi'an-Pingliang Electrified Railway and the Xi'an-Baoji High-speed Railway, and to meet the growing needs of western Xianyang.
