As a step-up DC/DC converter component for constant current driving white LEDs, the CP2122B1 can drive 3 to 30 LEDs. The CP2122B1 operates at frequencies up to 1.4MHz, allowing the use of small external inductors and capacitor components. The LEDs are connected in series, which ensures that the current flowing through each LED is the same, thus achieving consistent brightness. The 300mV feedback voltage minimizes the power dissipated in the current setting resistor, optimizing the efficiency of the white LED driver application as much as possible.
