According to the calculation of 2 million LED street lights, before the renovation, the annual electricity cost of street lamps reached 2 billion yuan, and the annual lamp replacement fee reached 500 million yuan, so that the total annual cost reached 2.5 billion yuan. After the renovation, the total annual savings will be 1.5 billion yuan, including 50% of the electricity bill and 500 million yuan of lamp replacement.

The total investment for the renovation of 2 million LED street lights is 4.89 billion yuan, plus a total loan interest rate of 6.1 billion yuan. During the 9-year life of LED street lights, a total of 13.5 billion yuan will be saved, and the local government will receive 7.4 billion yuan in energy-saving benefits.

In addition, it will save 10.8 billion kWh of electricity, equivalent to saving 3.79 million tons of standard coal, reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by 70,000 tons, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 2.68 million tons, and reducing smoke and dust emissions by 70,000 tons.
