This advanced overheat protection solution offers a 9VDC rated voltage and is designed to handle higher currents than comparable products in the market. Ideal for modern, high-capacity lithium-ion polymer and prismatic batteries, this device helps engineers meet stringent safety standards in battery-powered consumer electronics. The MHP technology integrates a bimetallic protector in parallel with a polymer PPTC device, which acts as a heater to lock the bimetal before any troubleshooting occurs, ensuring reliable and fast response.
