Quantum dot ultimate evolution BOE launches QLED screen

    As a powerful contender for the next-generation display technology, quantum dot display technology, which can transmit different colors of colored light according to the size of the crystal grains and subjected to electricity and light, achieves the highest color purity and luminous efficiency to date. Different from the way that LCD backlight uses QD materials to expand the color gamut, this product directly uses the inkjet printing process to produce QDs (QLEDs) to achieve full-color display with a color gamut exceeding 100%.

    Quantum Dot Ultimate Evolution
    Quantum dots are tiny semiconductor crystals composed of only a few atoms. The quantum dot materials that absorb energy can be excited to emit light, and light emitting different colors can be achieved by controlling the size of quantum dots. Based on this characteristic, quantum dot technology is currently mainly used in quantum dot backlight technology and active quantum dot light emitting diodes.
    At present, all QD TVs in the market are light-emitting, that is, LCD TVs using quantum dot backlight technology. Quantum dot backlight technology uses quantum dot materials instead of the phosphor light emitting layer in traditional LED backlights to make LED backlights with quantum films. The display color can be increased by more than 30% compared with conventional LED-backlit TVs. Compared to OLEDs, the electro-QLED display technology can also achieve perfect black, while having longer life, wider color gamut, and lower cost.
