    From October 10th to 14th, at the Dongying Airport in Shandong, China, the Beidou satellite navigation system independently researched and developed by China conducted the test flight on the 103 machines of the ARJ21-700 aircraft for the first time. The test was a complete success.

    The flight test officially opened the prelude to the application of domestic satellite navigation systems in domestic civilian passenger aircraft, opening up a new era of domestic civil aircraft navigation system.

    For the first time, this test flight realized the combination of four “localizations”, which will combine the domestic satellite navigation system, the domestic satellite navigation ground-based augmentation system and the domestic airborne navigation system on the platform of domestic large-scale civil aircraft, which will be the international of the follow-up Beidou satellite navigation system. Civil aviation standardization, application promotion, and test certification have obtained a large amount of experimental data.

    For the first time, Beidou satellite navigation system has achieved test application in the field of civil aviation. It is also the first time that domestic civil aircraft has used domestic navigation system, which is a milestone for the integration and development of two major special projects.

    According to China Commercial Aircraft, this test relies on the ARJ21-700 platform and successfully completed the function and performance flight test of the airborne Beidou satellite navigation receiver in accordance with the relevant international civil aviation standards and the relevant technical standards of China's civil aviation. The Beidou-based ground-based augmentation system It realizes the performance test flight verification of Class I precision approach and the test flight test of Beidou short message function. The test results show that the performance of domestic related systems has reached the level of similar foreign systems, and the transient and fast positioning indicators are in the leading position in the world.
