The conference released nine semiconductor lighting industry standards, including "Detailed Specification for Power LEDs for Semiconductor Optoelectronic Devices", "Test Methods for Semiconductor Light-Emitting Diodes", "Sapphire Substrate for Gallium Nitride Based Light Emitting Diodes", and "Fluorescence for Semiconductor Light Emitting Diodes" Powder, "Technical Specifications for Power Semiconductor Light-Emitting Diode Chips", "Test Methods for Semiconductor Light-Emitting Diode Chips", "Detailed Specifications for Small Power LEDs for Semiconductor Optoelectronic Devices", "Semiconductor LED Product Series" and "Semiconductor Lighting Terminology" Covers LED materials, chips, devices and related inspection and testing methods.
Ding Wenwu, deputy director of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that the promulgation of the first batch of LED standards will help standardize the semiconductor lighting industry market that is still in a state of chaos in China, and will encourage advanced enterprises to compete freely across regions and promote the role of technological innovation in the whole industry. .
The LED industry is an industry that has been rushed by local governments in recent years. LED is one of the four strategic emerging industries in Guangdong. At present, the LED industry in the Pearl River Delta accounts for about one-third of the country's total. Jiangmen City has also increased the introduction of the semiconductor lighting industry. At present, the city has more than 1,000 LED production or related enterprises, and has well-known enterprises such as Zhenmingli Group, Jianlong Optoelectronics and Keheng Industrial.
