ENERGY STAR qualified LED lamps are more than 75% more energy efficient than incandescent lamps and extend life by at least 15 times. Toshiba pointed out that the ENERGY STAR test is not limited to the energy efficiency of the product, but also includes the trend of the luminous quality of the lamp as a function of time.
