Recently, Shaanxi Electronic Information Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with General Electric Lighting Group of the United States.
The strategic cooperation agreement will be signed. The two parties will establish a joint venture company in Xi'an to introduce GE's semiconductor lighting R&D and production management process, and use GE's global sales network to promote joint venture semiconductor lighting products and drive the overall regional semiconductor lighting industry chain. And the development of related supporting industries, further enhance the level of semiconductor lighting industry in Shaanxi Province and Xi'an, realize the breakthrough in scale and technology of regional industries, and base on the global development of semiconductor lighting industry.
Ma Kai, Global Vice President and Global President and CEO of General Electric, thanked Xi'an for its support. He said that GE has promoted green technology as its mission and hopes to strengthen the R&D and promotion of the semiconductor lighting industry in Shaanxi and Xi'an through this cooperation with Shaanxi Electronic Information Group.
