1. **IPv6 is not yet ready for production**: In fact, IPv6 has been in development since the 1990s and was standardized in 1998. It was deployed on the internet in 2008, and major websites tested it during World IPv6 Day in 2011.
2. **IPv6 will break your network**: IPv6 is a separate protocol and can coexist with IPv4. You don’t need to disable IPv4; both can be used simultaneously.
3. **IPv6 is hard to use**: While IPv6 addresses are longer, they follow a similar structure to IPv4. They are easier to manage and can be configured with zeros if needed.
4. **Users won’t notice the change**: Most modern operating systems and browsers support IPv6 automatically. Unless you're manually using IP addresses, you likely won't see any difference.
5. **IPv6 is less secure**: Although IPv6 supports IPSec, it doesn't inherently make the network safer. Security still depends on proper configuration.
