Avago launches first high-brightness tri-color LED

    Unlike previous LEDs, Avago's new ASMT-QTB2 series of high-brightness AllnGaP and InGaN tri-color LEDs are produced using reinforced silicone resin materials, which offer the advantages of high reliability and long life, and greatly reduce the long time. Color deterioration caused by use.

    The ASMT-QTB2 series also offers an ultra-wide viewing angle of 120 degrees, improving the visibility of large outdoor kanbans in bright sunlight, and is suitable for use with stadium scoreboards, bulletin boards, stellar lights and electronic variable information signs.

    In addition to the above advantages, the LED also brings two major advantages to the production environment. Firstly, the traditional surface adhesion technology is used for simple soldering, which greatly reduces the cost. In addition, the package uses InGaN and AllGaP technology, which has the characteristics of low thermal resistance and high heat dissipation. In addition, the technology has passed the JEDEC humidity sensitivity level 2a certification. This allows the LED to be placed at room temperature (30oC, 60% relative humidity) for up to four weeks, without the need to remove the absorbed moisture before production, making the customer's assembly more flexible.
