    White LEDs are currently widely used in lighting and backlighting applications, and have been recognized globally as a key lighting technology. Traditional white LEDs typically use a method where phosphor is mixed with silicone resin. These problems limit the use of traditional LED packaging in high-end lighting applications. To address these limitations, Yantai Hilde New Materials Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Hilde") has developed an innovative solution by combining glass with excellent optical transmission, thermal stability, and weather resistance. Their glass ceramic fluorescent sheet technology overcomes the shortcomings of conventional LED packages, such as low optical density, poor thermal stability, and yellowing. In conventional LED and LDP technologies, phosphors are usually dispersed in organic resins for encapsulation. However, prolonged operation can lead to heat-induced damage, causing cracking, yellowing, and degradation of the resin. This results in reduced luminous efficiency and color coordinate drift. Glass ceramic fluorescent sheets offer significant advantages: uniform color, concentrated color distribution, high temperature resistance, excellent thermal stability, minimal color shift, and strong resistance to yellowing. Especially in high-power applications, the thermal conductivity of conventional silicone resin packaging is less than 0.2 W/m·K, while Hilde's products can achieve over 1000 lm/mm². According to reports, Hilde completed its R&D work on this technology in July of this year. Within just four months of mass production, their glass ceramic fluorescent package products have received widespread recognition from customers for their superior performance. It's a great product.
