Tencent Digital (Zhou Shuo) was founded on November 21st by ROOBO and Tsinghua University Art and Science Research Center. The first “Titanium Ink Award†2017 International Undergraduate Industrial Design Competition was officially opened.
It is reported that the original intention of the “Titanium Ink Award†was to explore and promote the innovation and integration of skills between different fields. The theme of the contest is “Home Smart Homeâ€. It is hoped that through the guidance of high technology and culture, we will open up the path of intelligent family creation that meets the current aesthetics and promote the perfect combination of life and space art. This will also be the first industrial design competition for international students who are favored by universities both at home and abroad.
This event covers universities around the world and advertises in more than 100 universities around the world. The event will focus on various types of smart hardware such as smart homes, robots and wearable devices. College students can register via the Internet and submit ideas for creative works to participate in the preliminary round. Finalists will create physical hands to participate in the semi-finals based on the creativity, and finally select the teams who can enter the finals to compete for the Smart Home Creative Award and the Competitive Creative Dream Fund.
It is reported that the "Titanium Ink Award" has set aside hundreds of thousands of high-school student awards for the top three winners of the competition, giving them a dual driving force for future industrial design "Rising Stars". The three awards of the Best Popularity Award, the Most Potential Award, and the Winning Award also bring different brilliance and recognition to the participating students.
