    XiTlight passes impact testing

    XiTlight has now been independently tested to BS EN 62262:2002 Degrees of protection provided by enclosures for electrical equipment against external mechanical impacts (IK code).

    XiTlight withstood an impact energy of 75 Joules and is accredited with a rating of IK10+75.

    Road and street lighting has to pass an impact test of 0.7 joules (IK05). XiTlight's rating makes it ten times more resistant to external impact than IK05.

    Designed to provide more visible emergency exit lighting in adverse atmospheric conditions, XiTlight is enclosed in a strong polycarbonate case with IP65 and IK10+75 making XiTlight the right product for all public areas including transportation.

    Designed, developed and made in the UK XITlight's other notable features include ? built in battery test facility via an I/R remote, 4 hour battery back up in emergency mode with increased and maintained light output levels, mercury free (no fluorescent tubes), Solid state technology, adjustable mains healthy light level, auto dimming, cost effectiveness.
