According to a report released by Canalys in Q3 2017, Apple shipped 3.9 million Apple Watches during the quarter. The LTE version of the Apple Watch Series 3 was particularly popular, with over 800,000 units sold—making up a significant portion of the total shipments. The same report also showed that Apple remained the top wearable device manufacturer globally in Q3. Xiaomi came in second with 3.6 million units shipped, followed by Fitbit in third place with 3.5 million. Overall, the global wearable market saw shipments reach 17.3 million units during the quarter.
